No fake controls
We will not pretend preferences are saved before the full update flow exists.
A frontend-only preference form is not acceptable for a real newsletter system because users may think their choices were saved when nothing actually changed.
When the backend preference module is built, this page can become a real preference center with token-based subscriber lookup and verified updates.
